FAS 5 Comment Letter from the Society
FASB has proposed a modification to FAS 5 that would dramatically expand the type of disclosure that public companies are required to make about their loss contingencies. Society members have expressed great concern about the costs and implications if the proposal is adopted in its current form and submitted a comment letter.
